I don’t know about you, but me, when I was a kid, I was always dreaming of having my own robot to play with it and stuff like that. Finally I’ve found a relatively cheap way to have it.

The guys from RoBe:Do have designed a software-ready robot that only needs a netbook ( e.g. eeePC ) to control it. The most exciting part is that you can control your robot through Twitter and it only requires a 12V rechargeable battery. Also, the robots feature an autofocus webcam, sonar system and they use the attached netbook as a brain.

The robots come in two flavours, the Coppa ( $1,649 ) and Silvio ( $1,449 ). Watch the following video to see how a robot is controlled via Twitter from an iPhone and it brings popcorn to it’s master.

I don’t know about you but when I enjoy a blowjob, I hate being teethed and it definitely turns me off. Now that I found about the BlowGuard, I feel the happiest man on Earth. You know, I’m a tech geek, but I really wouldn’t let go the BlowGuard for the next, unreleased version of iPhone, really.

Also the good thing is that BlowGuard only costs $28, but, in my opinion, is worth a fortune.

I know this post seems like paid advertising, but it looks this way because I really am enthusiast about the product.

Ok, enough talk, I have to convince my girlfriend to test it once more, or maybe twice.

iPoint 3D To Show Up Next Week At CeBIT 2009

CeBIT is coming and it’s looking very promising. The show will be held between March 3rd and 8th in Hanover, Germany (that’s in Europe) and like I said, it will be great like always. Here is the iPoint 3D, a device which gives people the possibility to communicate using only simple finger gestures without even touching it. Pretty great, huh? This 3D display is a (Ce)BIT larger than a regular keyboard (although in the picture looks bigger) and it can be hanged down from the ceiling, but you can always integrate it into a simple coffee table.

The iPoint 3D was developed by scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich-Hertz-Institut, HHI, and it’s a recognition device that features two built-in cameras to detect your hands and fingers in real-time, and then send the info to a computer. I repeat that there is no need for a physical contact or other special markers. iPoint 3D will be useful for video gamers, but it can be used in several domains and areas including in a hospital room.

So we are waiting for CeBIT 2009 to open its doors, and bring you more information about this device!

iriver Releases Official Info & Pics of the P7 PMP

iriver is getting a lot of attention these days and the compnay should be appreciated for that they get what they deserve. Here is a PMP which was unveiled at CES 2009 in Barcelona, the 4.3-inch P7 device that caught everybody’s eye. The stylish P7 PMP from iriver has a screen resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, but the screen is not that impressive and we would have expected it to be sharper.

iriver P7 is a based on flash, and although it should be portable you will see that it’s too big to keep it in your pocket. The P7 PMP will be available in four version 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB for media maniacs. P7’s battery will last 35 hours of audio, and about 7 hours in video mode. P7’s spec list shows that the PMP supports codecs like OGG, FLAC, XviD among many others.

We noticed that iriver’s packaging can be used as a business card holder, pen holder, or as a picture frame. Well, you decide, but only when the P7 will be released. When? Hopefully very soon and for a small amount of money, but we’re just dreaming here.
