This guys really know their game. I am talking about Nintendo. The company released another three colors for the DSi and now probably there isn’t anyone on this planet who wouldn’t like at least one flavor of the handheld. The three new colors are pink, lime green, and metallic blue, however, they won’t be available broadly. For the moment these flavors will be available only in Japan as of March 20th for a price of $195 (or ¥18,900).

If you don’t remember, the Nintendo DSi entered on the market last year on November 1st, and it came in black and white. The DSi handheld features two 0.3-megapixel cameras (one which is think is useless), fairly large screens, a SD card expansion slot, and improved speakers. Other than that, the Nintendo DSi will come to USA as of April 5th in blue and white flavors for the price of $169.99. Hmm, I can’t wait to get my hands on the white-colored DSi and I bet you feel the same.

Everybody loves Eee PC! It’s an unconditioned love, you just have to love it without the need of a special reason. Here is the Eee PC T91 from ASUS which still is months away from being released, but we cannot ignore it. Although it’s cool just like all convertible tablets, the touchpad is not multitouch and the LCD screen attracts just too many fingerprints. Darn! However, this is not the final version of the Eee PC T91 as ASUS still has time to improve and tweak it.

Other than that, the T91 will feature GPS, WWAN Support, and DVB-T Tuner, but we still want more from this tablet PC. Come on ASUS you can do better than this! I really hope that this new netbook will be more like the “original” Eee PCs, and not like the S101. Several months left, lots of touches to be added! Will ASUS live it up to the challenge? I surely hope so!

Trimble has unveiled the Yuma UMPC which should become an incredible computing solution for outdoors. This “handheld computer” from Trimble should continue the company’s legacy with such devices. The Trimble Yuma is based on Windows Vista Business OS, it features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth GPS, a 1.6GHz Atom processor, a 32GB SSD, Express Card SDIO slots, and a 7-inch WVGA touchscreen among others.

The Yuma UMPC will be perfect for host-mapping and form-based applications thanks to its touchscreen, but hopefully you will not damage it while you go camping. This all-in one computing tool withstands heavy climate conditions like rain (really?), vibration, humidity, and temperatures between -30 to 60 °C. Pretty impressive, huh?

“Connectivity in the field is vital for mobile workers. Today, they demand integrated solutions that are reliable and easy-to-use, so they can be more efficient and avoid the need to transcribe information once they return to the office. With the Yuma tablet, Trimble delivers just that. Now, workers can carry their office wherever they work. Its dynamic mix of ergonomic design, ruggedness and computing speed comes at a cost of ownership that?s very attractive in the tablet computer market today,” said Shawn Curtis, marketing manager for Trimble.

The Yuma measures 5.5 x 9 x 2 inches and it weighs 2.6 pounds. Trimble’s latest UMPC will be available as of April 2009, but for the moment there are no words about pricing.
