Hi,

What should I do if I can't open the task manager? The virus won't let me open any files right now.

Thanks.

Windows Police Pro is a very destructive virus that will render your system useless in minutes. It will shut down your firewall, kill your antivirus and hijack windows so that you cannot execute anything. This makes it impossible to run regedit and any auto removal app. If you reboot, Windows will not run. My observation is that it used a vulnerability in Adobe Reader to get into my system without any action on my side.

Guides like this annoy me. Refere to my more detailed guide here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=414314

Guides like this don't fully realize that the Police Pro Virus DISABLES you from using ANY exe file. You can't just access the regedit or run an anti-virus/malware program to fix your problem. You need to take some manual action. I got this virus and it was a @#$@#. I typed out my troubleshooting in a blog-style post and eventually I fixed the problem. You can follow my progress at the link above. Read closely and you'll be able to get rid of this virus.

Well I think that the idea of this new technology is really good and promising.

And I think that it is time that we should think green in every aspect of our lives.
