Google Chrome Beta Launched For Mac OS X and Linux
Everyone who owns Mac or Linux can now cheer because for them Christmas comes earlier and brings Google Chrome beta. Although it doesn’t have all the features that they’ll find in the final version, the best thing about Chrome for Mac and Linux is that the browser is extremely fast. Also you should know that the Google Chrome extensions page is now live and it will help you customize the interface and grab add-ons just like the Windows users.
For the moment Google Chrome beta for Mac and Linux lacks the popular and ultimately useful bookmarks manager, however, users will notice that Google Bookmark Sync is available and it stores bookmarks in your Google account so that you can access them from another machine. The release date for the final version is still an unknown, but I expect the search giant to release it by the end of the year. If not Mac OS X and Linux users will have to get used with the bugs and all of that until early 2010.
