Opera Mobile Browser Available For Android OS

The guys at Opera headquarters finalized the last touches on Opera Mobile Browser and shipped the final version to the Android OEMs. This means that the default browser of the Androids, Opera Mini, will be replaced after a year in the business.

Opera Mobile was already available on the Windows Mobile versions and seemed to outclass the likes of Mobile Safari and Mobile Chrome and now everyone is excited to get their hands on an Android-based phone because of all the little details such as server-side page compression for faster loading, great speed, Opera widgets and one user interface (UI) that makes it the standard browser on Android OS leaving the likes of Steel and Dolphin at the state of ‘customized browsers’.

Remains to be seen if Opera will release Opera Mobile Browser as a downloadable application or with a phone due to be released next year.

Below is a video that will show you a little preview of the things it can do on Windows OS, Symbian OS and Android, enjoy.
