Although we are going through a recession, Samsung is minding their own business and they keep on releasing cameras and cellphones (although we first saw them at CES 2009). Now we are going to talk about two 12-megapixel digital cameras unveiled by Samsung – the TL320 and the ZH15W. The first one features a 12-megapixel sensor, a 5x optical zoom, a 3-inch HVGA AMOLED screen, HDMI output, optical and dual image stabilization, and it can record 720p movies. Also, the memory capacity and battery life are very satisfying.

The second camera, ZH15W comes with a 12.2-megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD screen, optical and dual image stabilization, 720p movie recording and blur-free images, HDMI output, and many others. Both cameras will be available as of May and the TL320 will cost $379.99 while the HZ15W will cost $329.99. Too expensive? Maybe, but remember how happy we were when these things were first unveiled at CES 2009, but they didn’t give too much details about them.

Last year, iriver unveiled the Spinn media player and you all remember it. I think I’m not wrong when I’m saying that a was a device with a revolutionary design because it was cute, unique, and eye-catching. So, do you know what happens with anything that’s cool, revolutionary, functional or good? The answer is simple: there is always some company in China which starts manufacturing clones of these devices and this is just the case of iriver’s Spinn.

Ladies and gentlemen, behold the SWIVEL-CAM or the iriver Spinn clone – it’s just the same(or not). The SWIVEL-CAM features a 5-megapixel camera with an 8x digital zoom, a 3-inch LCD screen, 16 MB of internal memory, but with an SD card expansion slot, e-book reader, voice recorder, and game player among other “abilities”.

The SWIVEL-CAM is available now for a price of $119.99. I don’t know what to say about this. Too expensive for a clone. Well, if you decide to buy one, then let us now if it’s any good.
